My statements are mostly about the love of life no matter if they are representational or semi abstract. The respect and love for life sometimes comes through with a frustrated scream because I see and feel the world's values descending to material wealth and power, regardless of the destruction of the people and the planet. I have to "talk" about that too, from the point of view of the love of humanity! This has been a constant in my work, for I was sensitized by the shock of growing up during WWII. The statements about man's inhumanity to man are also balanced by my need also to celebrate life in all its varied glories. I need to, and do shout out loud in three dimensional form that there is respect and love in this world. Cherish it!
